BLUEPOPPY Vehicle Solutions was one of the headline sponsors at Business Showcase South West, billed as the largest free business event in the south west of England.

With a selection of cars and commercial vehicles outside the entrance to the Ashton Gate Stadium event, Bluepoppy had 10 staff at the event with the chance for business visitors to win a weekend in a Tesla.

In total there were 200 stand holders with an attendance of more than 2,000 on the day.

“The weather wasn’t particularly kind to us,” said Andrew Starr, managing director of Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions, “but the turnout was excellent and we had over 400 entrants to win a Tesla test drive for the weekend.

“At events like this, you have local businesses who want to do business with local businesses. Our support of this event, and sporting teams in the area, has really put us at the heart of the south-west for like-minded firms who want to lease.”

Bluepoppy sponsors Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and grass roots club Lodway – celebrating its 150th year – along with Bristol Rovers FC and Bristol Saracens rugby team.

In addition, Bluepoppy also supports Bristol Sport, which includes  Bristol City Football Club, Bristol Rugby Club, Bristol Flyers Basketball, Bristol City Women’s Football, Bristol Ladies Rugby, Bristol Jets Badminton and Bristol Sport Racing.
