BUSINESS development expert Rick Wilson joins CBVC as business development manager to help expand its client base.

Rick Wilson joins the Staffordshire based fleet management and leasing specialists from Logical Vehicle Management, where he spent nine years in a similar role. Prior to this, he worked at Lombard Vehicle Management (for three years) as a sales executive and in a customer service role at HSBC.

With some significant contract wins, CBVC has seen the business expand its cradle-to-the-grave approach to fleet management services which has created the need for the specialist business development role.

Rick Wilson will primarily be responsible for strategic sales development, helping to expand CBVC’s existing client base as well as build and maintain relationships with customers across the UK and in line with the company’s commercial growth targets.

Mike Manners, managing director at CBVC, said: “We have been searching for some time for someone of Rick’s calibre and experience. His customer service focus will dovetail with our existing staff and I expect him to progress through the organisation to a senior role very quickly.”

Rick added: “I’m genuinely delighted to join CBVC who bring with them a real passion for fleet management and unrivalled customer service. It’s also a privilege to be working with a professional and friendly team for one of the UK’s leading fleet management companies.”

He is married and the couple are expecting their second child in December.
