CONGRATULATIONS to CBVC’s James Riordan, who gained a distinction recently in the  ICFM Professional Fleet Consultant Development Programme, a course run by the BVRLA.

James, 39, currently CBVC’s IT manager,  is growing his business portfolio to include marketing and fleet sales consultancy.

The Professional Fleet Consultant Development Programme was a course created to build fleet consultant knowledge and skills quickly and effectively in a shared learning environment.

Duncan McMillan, a learning and development professional at the BVRLA, said: “James came to the programme with enthusiasm, great knowledge and experience of the sector. He displayed great humour, confidence and willingness to learn more, engaging in the group brilliantly to help enhance the experience for all concerned.

“His Distinction result for his work-based assignments – two demanding workplace practical applications of the course learning – show just how committed and engaged James was in the programme. This result is well deserved.”

Mike Manners, boss of CBVC Vehicle Management, said: “We are committed to investing in our staff to provide the best possible service to our customers.”
