DAWSONRENTALS | vans is celebrating with its Skelmersdale branch reaching a 1,000-van milestone for the number of vehicles on rent, making it the second largest depot in the country.

This achievement comes as part of a double celebration, as this month also marks the fifth anniversary of the Skelmersdale branch opening.

The depot has been vital to driving the growth of Dawsonrentals | vans in the North West as the only branch within the region.

Reflecting on the past five years, operations manager Lisa Hampson said: “I am extremely proud of the team, led by branch manager Michael Rutter, for growing the Skelmersdale site from 40 vehicles to 1,000 on rent in the last five years.

“Looking forward, we will continue to provide the excellent customer service and support we are known for, as well as putting all our efforts into further expansion for the branch.”

Managing director Gareth Jones added: “The Skelmersdale branch has been an invaluable addition to Dawsonrentals | vans.

“Everyone there has worked remarkably hard to ensure our clients and potential clients in the North West recognise us as of one of the industry’s most trusted suppliers of quality products. The success of these efforts are apparent in the results the branch delivers, and I am eager to see what the next five years will bring.”
