FLEET Alliance is expanding its vGroup International deal to include the supply of commercial vehicle accessories such as lightweight van linings with the added attraction of a nationwide mobile fitting service.
vGroup already supplies Fleet Alliance with more than 2,200 roadside assistance packs and first aid kits a year for the new company cars and light commercial vehicles delivered to customers.
Now Fleet Alliance, which manages more than 25,000 vehicles, has extended that nine-year relationship by contracting vGroup International’s vComms division for commercial vehicle accessories to provide equipment ranging from lining panels, tow bars and racking systems to roof vents and lighting and electrical features.
Fleet Alliance will benefit from vComms’ nationwide mobile accessory fitment service, a national menu of fixed prices as well as a comprehensive range of accessories for online ordering on behalf of customers that also includes deadlocks, door slam locks, rear window security grills and blanks, armaplates, dashboard cameras and livery requirements.
Fleet Alliance’s decision to expand its vGroup links follows the launch of the supplier’s weight-saving polypropylene CV lining panel – Finesse Poly-line.
Fleet Alliance recently acquired a controlling interest in East Sussex-based Neva Consultants, making the enlarged group the UK’s 14th largest by fleet size.
