IT’S A big welcome to Gateway2Lease, the family-run brokerage that has just joined the Leasing Broker Federation.

Based near Droitwich in Worcestershire, Gateway2Lease began trading eight years ago in the face of the financial crisis, driven by Kelly Marshall.

Kelly, who had been a key account manager for Lombard Vehicle Management servicing the company’s leasing brokers, had seen the opportunity to set up her own operation. And did just that supported by her father.

Kelly’s brother Rob joined the operation two years ago, and between them they have since been planning for an expansion of the business.

“We’re putting the structures in place to ensure we can support our planned growth,” explained Rob.

“We also want to grow our contacts and want to network with people in the industry to get alternative perspectives on event and issues facing brokers – such as Brexit, for example.

“The Leasing Broker Federation enables us to do that effectively and link up with like-minded people. I should also mention that joining the Federation came with a recommendation from Paul Watts-Barnes while he was at Infiniti.”

Gateway2Lease, which now has a staff of 23, is also a BVRLA broker member with funding lines from Network, Arval, Hitachi Capital and ALD Automotive.

Both Kelly and Rob will be attending the next broker dinner at Alderley Edge on 22 September.
