RAPHAELS Bank has appointed former HPI finance guru Darren Greenyer as deputy head of lending to further strengthen its focus on introducer relationships in both its motor and asset finance sectors.

Following almost a decade with HPI, specialist provider of the vehicle history check, Darren brings extensive insights of the motor finance arena.

Greenyer joins Raphaels as deputy head of lending following his HPI roles including product & business development director; finance & insurance director and head of automotive finance, making him the ideal candidate to join the management team at an exciting time in the bank’s development.

A core element of Darren’s role will be to develop and boost relationships with lending partners.  He will also use his industry acumen to enhance ease of access to Raphaels’ consumer and asset finance solutions for intermediaries.

Carl Virgo, head of lending at Raphaels Bank, said:  “We are delighted to have secured Darren’s appointment, he brings considerable industry knowledge and expertise to this significant new role.

“Darren understands that intermediaries need quick decisions, efficient service and flexible procedures based on both personalised and automated business solutions, along with a high-quality, customer-service orientated approach.  These are the cornerstones of our proposition and Darren will play a pivotal role in extending awareness of our offering and supporting our growth ambitions.”
