LEASING Options has extended its cricketing partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club for a further two years, through the 2017 and 2018 seasons bringing its name to a stand and terrace.
Leasing Options, whose brand aim is to be the number one choice with the best customer service for cars, vans and pickups in the UK, joins the likes of AJ Bell, Hill Dickinson and Thomas Cook Sport as partners of the Club.
The Manchester-based organisation has been a sponsor of the club for the last three years, and this significantly enhanced new investment is part of Leasing Options’ long term plan to grow market share.
Their extended partnership now includes exclusive stand naming rights of A Stand and also includes the creation of the new Leasing Options Terrace, overlooking the outfield and adjacent to the new 150-bed Hilton Garden Inn, opening in August.
The terrace will be in use for all international fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford and supporters will be given the opportunity to take in the views from the new Leasing Options Terrace during the Fourth Investec Test Match between England and South Africa, starting on Friday 4 August, and the First Royal London One-Day International against the West Indies on Tuesday 19 September.
As part of the partnership, LeasingOptions will also have access to the Lancashire First Team squad, with plans including a range of car-based challenges to be filmed at Emirates Old Trafford and shared with fans of the Red Rose County. The brand will also appear on the sleeve of the Lancashire Lightning Royal London One Day Cup kit, alongside principal shirt sponsor AO.com.
Daniel Gidney, chief executive at Lancashire County Cricket Club, said: “We’re delighted that Leasing Options have extended and enhanced their agreement with the club. They have been a partner with us for a couple of years but we’ve really grown the partnership and taken them to the next level, in terms of their sponsorship with us.
“It is testament to their vision and how they want to grow their organisation. They’re very strongly placed now to really attack their own market place and we believe that we can give them a platform to do so.
“As the club is growing and developing, we’ve got more facilities that we can offer to companies to support the growth of their business. With our Hilton Garden Inn, the newly created Leasing Options Terrace is going to be another great addition to Emirates Old Trafford to watch international and domestic cricket as well as live music,” Gidney added.
Andy Houston, sales director at LeasingOptions.co.uk, commented: “It’s great to finally cement our relationship with Lancashire County Cricket Club having worked together for a number of years.
“We feel our aspirations as a business are more than matched by everyone connected with the club, and we look forward to engaging with supporters in a number of different ways.
“We see it as an important milestone in our growth plans and ambitions to take the benefits of vehicle leasing to the general public. Emirates Old Trafford is an outstanding venue and we’re hugely excited about moving forward with the club over the next two years and beyond.”
