THE Lex Autolease Broker division finished 2016 having achieved yet another record year. The fleet is now over 74,000 cars having passed the 70,000 milestone during October.  Personal Contract Hire has once again surpassed Contract Hire as the most popular product sold.

Steve Cocks, director of the broker division at Lex Autolease, said: “We have enjoyed a sustained period of growth which is unprecedented. Breaking records seems to have become the norm as our brokers continue to capitalise on the growing popularity of Personal Contract Hire, which for us has eclipsed that of BCH.”

Small businesses have also taken advantage of some of the exceptional deals available in the market. He added, “a more flexible approach to fleet has meant that our introducers are often able to help them surpass customer expectations.

“Commercial vehicles are another growth area for us. We have brokers who specialise in this area, offering increased capability and specialist expertise. Contract Hire remains the product of choice here for customers, outselling finance lease by 2 to 1.

“We have ambitious plans for the Broker channel and, I suspect, on current form it will not be long before we break 80,000. In 2017 we’ll continue to invest in systems in addition to introducing a new online training platform to further support Brokers in helping customers to further understand the range and benefits of our products.”
