  • Ogilvie Fleet provides contract hire, leasing and fleet management solutions for UK and European companies operating vehicle fleets ranging from five to 2,000+ units.
  • The fleet today totals more than 14,500 vehicles, making the company one of the largest independent contract hire and fleet management specialists in the sector.

FLEET decision-makers have voted Ogilvie Fleet the UK’s top vehicle leasing and fleet management company for service to customers in the 2016 Experteye awards.

Topping the category, which recognises service to fleet operators with more than 250 vehicles, makes it an unprecedented sixth year in succession that the contract hire and fleet management specialist has won an Experteye award.

The latest triumph further builds on Ogilvie Fleet’s quartet of customer service awards and a customer innovation award won in the previous five years thus further underlining the company’s leadership of the UK contract hire and leasing industry in putting clients first.

The Experteye awards cover nine different fleet and automotive categories. Ogilvie’s Fleeteye CSI honour is based on results obtained throughout 2015 from Experteye’s market-leading post-sale customer satisfaction survey, drawn from a subscriber base of top leasing companies in the UK.

Fleet operators are surveyed independently by Experteye, which asks an extensive range of questions on a monthly basis. The annual CSI award goes to the company that has achieved the highest combined results across the entire year.

“It is a great achievement to win an Experteye award,” said Rick Yarrow, managing director of Experteye, “yet to win an award six times in succession, across multiple categories, is unprecedented.

“All results are based on independent feedback we receive from their customers, making them deserved winners of our award for best customer service to larger fleets.”

The Fleeteye CSI remains the benchmark survey in the fleet sector for measuring service levels from major contract hire and leasing providers. Companies that subscribe enjoy flexible back-end reporting and the ability to tailor the question sets so that they are meaningful.

Fleet managers who complete the survey also benefit from accessing industry benchmarking data giving them vital statistics on how well they are being served compared to other fleet operators.

Ogilvie Fleet has more than 13,000 leased cars and vans on its books and a further 1,600 on fleet management.

Managing director Gordon Stephen said: “Six consecutive Experteye awards underlines the consistency of excellent service delivery across the business by our employees.”

Ogilvie Fleet currently employs 82 people having increased its workforce by 12% in the past 12 months to meet an ever-increasing portfolio of customers.

Mr Stephen said: “In recruiting new employees we have introduced them to the Ogilvie Fleet ethos and the DNA of the company which is to deliver industry-leading customer service. That is the lifeblood of the business, because it is a major factor in helping to retain existing customers and win new business.

“Importantly, the Experteye awards reflect customer service across the entire business so all of our employees must buy into the Ogilvie Fleet way whether they are in the sales department or vehicle disposals, or the IT or maintenance departments.”

Ogilvie Fleet, sales and marketing director Nick Hardy added: “We are absolutely delighted to yet again win an award that reflects our ever-present commitment to customer service and client innovation.

“It is particularly gratifying to be recognised by Experteye because the awards are wholly independent as they are governed by private responses from fleet decision-makers. The award therefore recognises how our customers truly feel about the service they receive from Ogilvie Fleet.”
