Synergy Automotive

  • New offices to accommodate growth
  • £1.3 million turnover in 2015
  • Supplying over £23 million in vehicles at retail sales value

A 66% increase in sales since 2012 has turbocharged success for north of England-based vehicle leasing and contract hire broker Synergy Automotive.

Posting a £1.3 million turnover in 2015, almost doubled on the previous year – and supplying over £23 million in vehicles at showroom prices – the Harrogate-based company has also moved into new offices to accommodate its growth.

Synergy Automotive, founded in 2006 by Paul Parkinson who has amassed over three decades of industry expertise,  provides B2B and B2C car leasing, contract hire and finance services.

Attributing success to striving for excellence in customer experience, the business has been awarded Gold Trusted Merchant status from the global feedback engine Feefo for achieving a 100 per cent customer service rating provided by over 500 customers in the last year

The company’s success comes at a period of enormous change for the automotive industry with the new car market shifting from retail sales to a “pay-as-you-drive” leasing model, in a sector experiencing a sharp increase in customer service expectations.

Said Paul: “The ‘car ownership way’ is fast becoming redundant. Few people buy a smartphone anymore – they search for a model they like, then agree a contract term that suits them. The new vehicles market is following suit.

“Our business is built with our customers at the heart of the process. Communication, quality and delivery drive everything we do.”

Committed to boosting standards, Synergy Automotive is a member of various associations including the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVRLA). Earlier this year Paul Parkinson was invited onto the BVRLA National Leasing Broker Committee, which seeks to implement industry best practice and raise standards.
