AFTER three massively successful years sponsoring football’s National League, Vanarama reaches out with a two-year partnership with English Basketball League One’s Hemel Storm.
It said: “As a company of sports enthusiasts who like to give back to the local community, the opportunity to get involved with the Patron’s Cup winning side was too good an opportunity miss.”
The partnership will ensure the continued success of one of Hemel’s go-to places on a Saturday night for lots of families and basketball fans alike.
Vanarama managing director Andy Alderson commented on the sponsorship: “We’re so impressed with what the management team are already doing at Hemel Storm. Their community focus reflects our core values; we’ve been a hands-on sponsor for The National League and we want to bring this same energy to Hemel Storm.
“Fan engagement and involvement will be key to the success of the sponsorship and we can’t wait to get started.”
Hemel Storm plays to packed crowds at Sportspace, Hemel Hempstead, and represents the town across the country at venues from Newcastle to Worthing.
Tony Humphrey who has been leading the discussions with Vanarama on Storm’s behalf, said: “We are absolutely delighted and thankful to Vanarama for their incredible support which will enable the team and club to develop and continue to entertain our growing fan base.
“This partnership is a vote of confidence in what we are trying to do for the community because we believe that the excitement of Saturday night basketball at Sportspace is a unique experience that the whole family can enjoy. We will be proud to wear the colours of Vanarama as we strive for greater success.”
Over the coming weeks Vanarama will be unveiling an exciting new kit to fans, ensuring the team get the best support possible from a sponsor that’s keen to add value and help the team develop this season.
