WORRIED about nasty end-of-lease surprises? Well now VQS partners a new inspection service for drivers and fleet managers that should dramatically reduce end-of-lease return charges.

Inspect any car provides a fixed price inspection service of £99 + VAT prior to a car reaching the end of its contract by creating a detailed report on any damage, maintenance and advisories the driver or fleet operator needs to address before handing the car back to the leasing company.

Vehicle Quality Solutions (VQS) national network of vehicle inspectors will inspect a car at a business or driver’s home and an an easy-to-understand report is then emailed within 24 hours that translates the inspection into simple actions.

Inspect any car can also help customers source cost effective repair and maintenance solutions following the inspection thus avoiding potential excessive lease return charges.

Bookings and payments can be managed through their website or over the phone. Inspect any car has developed its own software that will seamlessly link to VQS so that the inspection and raising the report can be managed quickly and efficiently.

With around two-thirds of new private cars being funded on Personal Contract Purchase or Personal Contract Hire and a large percentage of company cars being purchased on contract hire or leasing Inspect any car believes its service fills a major gap in the market.

“Our aim is to give private motorists and fleet managers a chance to both manage and control their own repairs that will ultimately reduce costs,” explained Matthew Corby, director of Inspect any car.

“We were looking for a partner that could provide us with exceptional customer service, market leading industry knowledge and a national coverage that works with integrity and VQS ticked all these boxes,” he added.

“We like the Inspect any car proposition as it helps address an age-old problem of drivers and fleets being faced with costs at the end of a lease contract. We look forward to putting our 16 years of vehicle inspection experience into supporting this new service,” said Simon Jackson, managing director of VQS.
