SEAT management moves

  • Steve Catlin moves from head of Volkswagen Group fleet services to head SEAT UK sales
  • Replaces Ashley Andrew who switched to Skoda UK as head of marketing
  • Andrew Tracey takes over as head of marketing for SEAT UK
  • Ben Fish returns from being head of product marketing at Audi UK to replace Andrew Tracey as head of planning & supply.

STEVE Catlin to head SEAT sales, moving from heading Volkswagen Group fleet services, is the latest high profile move in Volkswagen Group management reshuffles.

The most recent changes are the latest in a series of internal moves at Volkswagen Group UK.

Steve joined the Volkswagen Group in July last year, when he came in from Vauxhall, having served most recently as retail sales director for three years.

Responsible for a 36-strong office and field-based team, Steve reports into SEAT UK director Richard Harrison, and takes the helm from Ashley Andrew who recently switched to Skoda UK as head of marketing.

Steve is married, with a young son and is a keen runner and snowboarder.

Commenting on his appointment, Steve said: “I’m looking forward to working with the SEAT team and our dealer partners to grow this agile and dynamic brand in the UK.

“With a focus on our combined sales effectiveness, the customer experience and the imminent arrival of Ateca, our first SUV, we will be able to further release the potential that exists across both the retail and fleet sales channels.”

A further change saw Andrew Tracey take over as head of marketing for SEAT UK, in place of Chris Stevens who became head of group retail concepts. Andrew has broad experience within SEAT, after 12 years in various sales, marketing and planning roles.

Lastly, taking over from Andrew as head of planning & supply for SEAT UK, is Ben Fish. Formerly product marketing manager for Audi UK, he moves back to SEAT after nine years with its sister brand.
