THE Tamworth-based car benefits and fleet management specialist, Fleet Evolution, is the latest company to join the Leasing Broker Federation.
Best known for its innovative employee benefit car schemes and fleet management, Fleet Evolution is currently in the process of launching a new affinity personal leasing scheme, called Carffinity.
The scheme seeks to provide attractive leasing rates to employees who do not work long enough hours to qualify for salary sacrifice car schemes or are possibly contract workers.
Fleet Evolution managing director, Andrew Leech, managing director, said: “The launch of our Carffinity personal leasing programme is aimed at providing very competitive personal leasing rates to our customers’ employees who do not qualify for other schemes, typically due to the number of hours they work.
“We saw joining the Leasing Broker Federation as an ideal way of meeting new funders, and discussing with them the provision of highly attractive rates for our customers’ employees. We look forward to a number of meaningful negotiations,” he said.
Fleet Evolution, which was founded in 2010 and was awarded ‘Go Ultra Low Company’ status in November last year, has enjoyed a strong start to 2018 which has seen the signing of a number of new customers.
While other salary sacrifice providers shy away from SMEs, preferring to focus on larger corporate customers, Fleet Evolution actively targets small to medium sized businesses. Its smallest customer has just 17 employees while its largest has more than 2,500. In between are a number of companies that typically have 80-400 employees.
“We have spent some time in overcoming potential customers’ concerns that the conditions for salary sacrifice have changed significantly since the Government altered the rules governing their tax treatment.
“This has been broadly successful and we have seen a significant increase in interest for our salary sacrifice solutions and can report a number of new customers across a range of company sizes,” said Andrew Leech.
