A BIG welcome to Applied Leasing. The Telford-based brokerage has just joined the Leasing Broker Federation.
The company has been trading for 28 years, but now it’s time for MD Peter Joyce to take well-earned retirement. But the brokerage will stay in the family.
Daughter Lucy Joyce will be taking on management of the company. Although at just 28, and the mother of two young children, Lucy doesn’t underestimate the task ahead.
She told us: “The business has been trading for 28 years with some large accounts and long-standing customers. I was born the same year Applied Leasing was established and it flows deep within me. We are currently building/expanding and making some large investments for the future.
“So I’m looking to widen my reach in terms of networking and gain some key contacts moving forward.”
Lucy explained that she felt the Leasing Broker Federation would provide her with deeper knowledge of the constantly changing market. Further reasons for joining the Federation included the networking opportunities would allow her to grow the company and the opportunity build up key relationships.
“Knowledge is power and the Federation seems to have a strong network and I hope this will help me to grow as a person and the company to prosper, as my father has done for many years,” Lucy added.
Lucy will be joining us at the Birmingham broker dinner at Hotel du Vin on February 28.
