WELCOME to Autohorn Fleet Services, and its 1st Car Leasing ( brokerage, which has just joined the Leasing Broker Federation.

Based in York, has six staff and forms part of the Autohorn Group with 67 employees in total.

The Autohorn Group covers diverse automotive ground, from short-term leasing of cars to car and van rental (it’s a registered Europcar franchisee) and a chauffeur service. As well as, intriguingly, managing the Lost Luggage at York Station – an area of the mobility-as-a-service we had not considered before!

And of course, the brokerage.

“Autohorn has been going for 20 years and the group operates under several brands, covering everything from short term to long term leasing and daily rental,” explains Scott Jenkins, sales & operations director of Autohorn.

“We even have our own fleet of 1,500 vehicles, 50% of which we own, split between our long-term leasing division and our Easilease 28-day rental offering.

“We invested in around five years ago so we had a long-term vehicle solution for our customers. We have now decided to pour more investment into this arm of the business as we see it as path for growth.

“Craig Moran came along in a new role at the end of last year to really push the brokerage along and he has really brought new energy, including new funding lines from Arval and Hitachi, along with agreements with new dealer groups. So I think we’re in a good position to grow from our current 250 vehicles to over 600 next year.”

Along with the new Arval and Hitachi funding lines, also has agreements with Lex Autolease and JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions, and is a BVRLA broker member. It offers business and personal lease agreements, along with van leases.

“As the Autohorn Group we are well known around York for our short term solutions but we’ve not shouted about our contract hire operation.

“So joining the Leasing Broker Federation gives us the opportunity to meet like-minded people in the business, build up relationships and increase the awareness of in general,” Scott added.
