IS there no stopping Synergy Automotive? Having been named Leasing Broker of the Year the Harrogate broker is now in the final line-up for four business awards.

Perhaps there’s good reason. This year has seen the company’s strongest performance to date, so no wonder Paul Parkinson MD is shortlisted in both the Empowering Potential and Company Leader of up to 100 employees categories of the Yorkshire Leadership Awards.

Paul says he’s a “committed ‘people champion’” – the company invests over 200 hours annually in training its 40-strong team, running tri-weekly personal development workshops.

Giving the senior team more autonomy, the MD, who is also a finalist in the Leadership category of the Yorkshire Post Excellence Awards, undergoes his own personal coaching and development programme.

With headquarters in Harrogate, Synergy has also been shortlisted in the Standout Small Business of the Year category in Variety’s Yorkshire Business Awards.
