Adam Harley, national leasing manager, BMW Group, explained the company’s approach to drivetrains, the emergence of electrification, but the continuing importance of diesel in the company’s line up despite the anti-diesel media frenzy.

Arron Mogridge, Fleet Procure’s business development manager, also explained over dinner how the company was aiming for the ‘middle ground’ broker in the 300-1500 territory to add to its buyer conglomerate as it aimed for 20,000 vehicles a year through its online broker/dealer platform.

It was a lively evening with plenty of debate over GDPR, how fast electrification could grow, drawbacks and advantages of PHEVs, and handling cash-for-car customers.

This was our last regional dinner of the year, but we shall be unveiling a full listing of events for our 2018 Leasing Broker Federation programme in the near future.
