THE Leasing Broker Federation dinner at Brighton (June 27) was so well subscribed it was more like a ‘mini conference’ one broker suggested to us.

There were 32 guests at the Carmmunity supported dinner at Brighton’s The Grand.

Ford’s Azhar Khan presented the latest Ford product, including the new Active models.

There was a further presentation from Odo by Simon West-Oliver and Martin Drake which outlined the potential benefits to brokers of the cloud-based fleet management system.

ODO said it was going live with the first broker – Paul Bulloch of Concept Vehicle Leasing – following beta testing.

Editorial Director Ralph Morton also congratulated Steve Cocks for his new board position at Lex Autolease and for the growth of the introduced sales channel that now accounted for 25% of the Lex Autolease fleet.

Ian Vodden, National Account Manager for Carmmunity, said:

“Another excellent Leasing Broker Federation Dinner at The Grand Hotel in Brighton. It was good to catch up with existing customers as well as having other exciting opportunities presented.”
