CARMMUNITY is becoming an associate partner of the Federation.

As part of its support for the Leasing Broker Federation, Carmmunity will be sponsoring the Manchester broker dinner on April 26 at Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

It will also continue its support of the Leasing Broker Awards in 2018 and extend its partnership into the Leasing Broker Conference.

Nick Ratcliffe, publishing director of the Leasing Broker Federation, said:

“We welcome the support from Carmmunity and the benefits such support brings to the Federation’s leasing broker community.”

Never heard of Carmmunity before?

If you’ve not come across Carmmunity before in your broking travels, then it’s the trading name of Frontline Leasing and Fleet Management Ltd, a recognised partner of Ford’s Contract Hire Programme with a remit to drive volume in the leasing broker market.

Debbie Viitanen, sales director at Carmmunity, said:

“We offer a combination of best in market support levels, vehicle location and cradle to grave order processing for leasing brokers in both the business and personal leasing markets. We can also cater for finance lease business, which is an increasing market particularly for van funding.

“Our one aim is to work closely with our Partners to provide them with best in market discounts while maintaining a level of service that excels in all areas.”

Carmmunity works with the major dealer groups, with whom Carmmunity has comprehensive service level agreements, and can maximise stock availability through their relationship with the Ford dealer network.

However, Debbie added that Carmmunity never does direct business with end users.

The most recent addition to the Carmmunity team is Ian Vodden, who joined from Lookers as national account manager.

Ian Vodden will be working with David Holley in handling national accounts at Carmmunity. While Ian was with Lookers Ford, he presented the Best Van Leasing Award to Vandirect’s Colin Parnell.

“Ian ‘Van Man’ Vodden has built a solid reputation in the broker market from his previous dealer based role and along with Dave’s expertise in contract hire funding they offer our customers a wealth of industry knowledge,” added Debbie.

“Lou Hughes is back part time following the birth of her son Alfie, and is our self-proclaimed Minibus Queen, specialising in all things people mover.

“Our final and most recent addition is Jason, our technology and data manager who will shape our business as we move through 2018. We are increasing our digital presence and will be offering out Partners an on-line system to use for stock, quotations, status reporting and much more.

“We are excited about the many opportunities we see around us, and would welcome a conversation with any leasing brokers out there who would like to use the services we offer.”

For those of you who attended the Leasing Broker Awards, Lou Hughes presented the Best Large Broker Customer Service Award to Fleet Alliance’s Martin Brown.
