HERTZ’S wholly-owned and highly successful accident management provider CCL is relaunched as Hertz Accident Support. It will continue to offer a full insurance service, from processing claims to providing a replacement vehicle and arranging vehicle damage repair.
The change came as Hertz UK, part of Hertz Global Holdings Inc. renamed CCL Vehicle Rentals Ltd (CCL Accident Support) as Hertz Accident Support to clarify its ownership since its acquisition in 2013.
Hertz Accident Support offers a comprehensive range of services to the car and van insurance replacement market in the UK, estimated to be valued at more than £1 billion.
Following a three-year investment plan by Hertz, the provider has secured a number of significant insurer accounts, more than doubled the size of its staff and increased its total of partnerships with body shops and dealerships.
The provider handles every aspect of a traffic-related accident including processing claims and providing a like-for-like fully insured replacement vehicle, as well as vehicle damage repair.

Hertz Accident Support is built upon CCL’s over 15-year heritage of accident management expertise, combined with the investment of Hertz and its extensive network, fleet and locations in the UK.
