CD Fleet Services has launched a bespoke ‘Inspect & Collect’ service for the fleet and leasing industry.

The new service will focus on providing high quality, accurate vehicle inspections and rapid collection of vehicles to minimise downtime during the remarketing phase.
CD Fleet Services say it will be available to all fleet operators, as well as its existing remarketing customers.

Andy Brown, managing director of CD Fleet Services said:

“We know from speaking to our customers that often they are not getting accurate condition reports when vehicles come to the end of their contract. Damage is being missed. It is costing the industry money and leading to disputes with drivers and fleet managers.

“There is a clear gap in the market for a better quality service with experienced vehicle inspectors and a properly integrated collection network.

“A key differentiator of CD Fleet Services Inspect & Collect is that we will be using only fully trained, ex-bodyshop staff and not drivers who have received some damage inspection training.”

CD Fleet Services Inspect & Collect

  • New service successfully trialled with contract hire and fleet management company, Venson Automotive Solutions
  • Specialist vehicle inspection company, Gain Solutions, is partnering CD Fleet Services in new service
  • All vehicle inspections are carried out by experienced, ex-bodyshop managers
  • Vehicle collections completed within two hours of inspection.
  • Inspection reports uploaded through an online portal where they can be viewed instantly by the fleet or lease provider
