LEADING vehicle leasing and finance credit broker Synergy Automotive celebrates its tenth anniversary with a special event attended by guests including Andrew Jones, Transport Minister and MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough.

Managing director Paul Parkinson established Synergy Automotive in 2006 – bringing more than three decades of automotive and board-level experience to online vehicle leasing and contract hire.

Recent key developments include a 39% team increase to 26 in the last 12 months, Andrew Cope – the driving force behind the success of vehicle leasing giant Zenith – joining the board, and securing the coveted Gold Trusted Merchant status from global independent feedback engine Feefo consecutively in 2015 and 2016.

The milestone event, at Synergy Automotive’s Hornbeam Park offices, was supported by clients, local businesses and friends, and a charity fundraiser raised £1,100 for The Rainbow Fund to buy more vital equipment for the Children’s Department and Special Care Baby Unit at Harrogate District Hospital.

MP Andrew Jones said: “Surviving and thriving ten years in business is a tremendous achievement. It takes consistent high levels of customer service and an unswerving commitment to meeting the customer’s needs to do that.

“Leasing is a fast moving and highly competitive sector so I congratulate Synergy Automotive on its success – it is great to see another outstanding local company doing well in a challenging business environment.”

Synergy Automotive MD Paul Parkinson said: “Delivering an excellent customer experience for every client is the foundation of our consistently strong performance.

“I’m extremely proud of our great employees and the valuable role that each and every one of them plays in driving forward our continued success.”

As the corporate partner of The Rainbow Fund, the £1,100 raised at the anniversary event complements over £3,700 recently raised by a 12-strong team from Synergy Automotive in a gruelling 10km obstacle challenge.

Paul Parkinson is the only northern member of the BVRLA National Leasing Broker Committee, the trade body for the vehicle rental and leasing sector.
