THE car leasing portal Contract Hire & Leasing.com has rebranded to Leasing.com.

The rebrand is part of a series of changes the lead-generating website has made recently.

This includes its new Code of Conduct, which requires all lease deal advertisers to hold at least one direct relationship with a funding partner. And all independent leasing brokers advertising on the site must be British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) Leasing Broker Members.

Leasing.com says it’s to maintain consistent high standards across the board.

As well as ditching some of the more dubious bedroom broker deals, Leasing.com says the rebrand is to champion the behavioural shift from buying to leasing. It is backing this up with an advertising campaign.

“The new car finance market is changing, and we’re changing with it,” commented Managing Director Dave Timmis.

“Traditionally leasing has been the reserve of businesses, not the general public. We want to change that. We’re launching with a bright new brand that will appeal to a wide audience.

“We’re launching with new user-friendly sort options, including sort by price, total lease cost and our own Leasing.com value score. This will enable users to easily find the right deal for them, at the best price from the widest range of advertising partners – from brokers and dealers to the big automotive finance houses.”

Leasing.com said it wanted to be the trusted champion of car leasing.
