STAFFORDSHIRE based CBVC has appointed Elliot Southerton as Fleet Manager.

Elliot joins the Mike Manners brokerage from Interserve. Having joined three years previously, Elliot was Group Fleet Operations Manager responsible for a fleet of over 4,500 cars, LCVS, HGVS and specialised vehicles.

In his new role at CBVC, Elliot will applying his large fleet management expertise to optimise partner fleets, including technological advancements, safety and duty of care compliance.

Mike Manners, Managing Director at CBVC Vehicle Management, said:

“Elliot has gained valuable insight into what does and doesn’t work in a rapidly changing business environment and will utilise his fleet knowledge and financial acumen to deliver effective cost savings. His input will assist all our clients in achieving cost savings and control, vital when fleet is often the second largest expense to a business.”

Elliot Southerton added:

“This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business which is at the forefront of the industry implementing the latest in fleet technology and strategy. Part of the difficulty of large corporate conglomerates are the many hoops you’re required to jump through to implement even the smallest of changes. That’s not something that is a problem by utilising the outsourced fleet management solution offered by CBVC.”

An Aston Villa fan, Elliot is a keen field hockey player and has recently begun playing golf.
