FLEET Alliance nears its £100k charity target for the year, boosted with an amazing £18,000 raised for A&M Scotland at the company’s charity dinner on Saturday night.

Since they started fundraising in 2008, Fleet Alliance has raised over £368k for charitable causes and this year’s £100k charity target is their highest and now within reach.

The Fleet Alliance team first visited the A&M Scotland holiday camp this time last year and were completely overwhelmed with their enthusiasm and genuine want to get the best for the children of Glasgow.

A&M Scotland work across 35 of the most deprived communities within our city and reaching more than 2,500 kids every week. A&M deliver diversionary sports programmes five nights a week across the city including football, dance and gymnastics.

As well as this they have a school holiday programme which attracts over 400 kids a day and includes transport to venues and all food and drinks.

A&M also has a volunteer and employability programme which is aimed at gaining valuable skills and finding positive destinations for the young people they work with. Everything A&M does is completely free of charge for the thousands of young people accessing their services from age 5 to 24 and Fleet Alliance is committed to supporting this amazing work.

Fleet Alliance have posted some of the photos from the evening on their Facebook page, feel free to share them.
