THE number of leasing brokers joining the Fleet Procure online procurement portal continues to tick up.

Academy Leasing is the latest broker to join, now taking the total to 18 brokers on the system.

Fleet Procure pools the buying power of a select group of up to 25 leasing brokers while giving the dealer partners one simple to use system for the processing of the orders.

The one portal solution also tackles the vehicle availability situation by allowing dealers to provide easier and faster access to stock and pipeline vehicles.

Arron Mogridge, Partner Relationship Manager at Fleet Procure, said:

“We are excited to welcome a brand such as Academy Leasing to the Fleet Procure community. They are one of the longest standing brokers in market with direct funding facilities with all the major funders.

“From the moment we met Garry Harrison-Lea and his team we knew they would be a perfect fit for our broker community and their wealth of expertise will help us in the future development of the platform.”

Academy Leasing’s Garry Harrison-Lea added:

“In an environment of ever changing needs, ‘fin-tech’ plays a crucial role. The Fleet Procure proposition offered a wealth of cost and time benefits which made the decision to join relatively simple.”

Fleet Procure has already processed in excess of 500 broker orders year-to-date via 73 dealer partners and has eight manufacturer relationships in place. Mogridge said the firm was in talks with more manufacturers to engage with the platform.
