Gateway2Lease streamlines leasing process with bespoke CRM

GATEWAY2LEASE has streamlined the leasing process by implementing an improved version of its bespoke CRM system to provide a more frictionless journey for customers.

The new system utilises the latest e-sign technology to present customers with a secure link for their quotation; the quotation can then be e-signed to order from the quotation.

Gateway2Lease says the results have seen positive feedback from customers who have appreciated the effortless nature of the leasing process.

“Technology is the area in which we want to lead,” explained operations director Rob Marshall, who comes from an IT background from his time prior to Gateway2Lease at RBS.

“We believe our technology edge translates into a better customer journey experience that will help us gain ground with more customers.”

Rob added: “The finance application has also moved onto the e-journey. This minimises customer effort in providing all the information required for an underwriting proposal. We are now seeing many cases where the customer is credit accepted by the finance company within an hour of them receiving the quotation. In some cases finance documents can be e-signed shortly after that!”

Gateway2Lease, led by MD Kelly Marshall, now features funding lines from Network, Lex Autolease, Arval, ALD, Hitachi, Santander and BNP Parisbas. It was recently made an Arval Platinum broker by head of broker Todd Williams, in December 2016.

It also has a range of dealer agreements in place, including Marshalls and Sytner.

“When our new CMS system is combined with the improvements that finance companies are making in their systems, the customer journey is now very slick from quotation through to delivery and beyond,” said Rob.

Further enhancements are being built in following customer feedback.

“The technology we now have, combined with the partnerships we enjoy with finance houses and dealerships, really sets us up for growth.”
