UWE Hildinger has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at business mobility and leasing specialist, Alphabet (GB).

He replaces 40-year automotive leasing industry veteran Nigel Fletcher who is retiring having served as interim Chief Operating Officer for almost 12 months. Hildinger joins from Alphabet International in Munich where he has been Chief Sales Officer for the past three years.

Alphabet (GB) Chief Executive Nick Brownrigg said that Fletcher had made a significant contribution to the business in a relatively short time. He added: “We have been aware of Nigel’s intention to retire for a while and over the past several months we have conducted an extensive global search for this important role.

“We interviewed a number of extremely high-calibre candidates but Uwe’s vision, personal qualities and breadth of experience were unrivalled. His qualifications for this role are outstanding.”

Hildinger has previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Alphabet in Germany, as well as working for other leasing and fleet management operations.

Alphabet is a leading provider of Business Mobility services, helping organisations meet their business travel requirements.
