VGROUP International has strengthened its vLease division to further reinforce customer service levels and client communication.

Simultaneously, vGroup International has created the new position of head of exports to reflect rapidly increasing demand by international vehicle leasing companies for its products in global markets.

vLease provides a range of services to more than 100 UK and European vehicle leasing and fleet management companies including carpet and rubber mats, registration plates and branded safety and valet bags.

The restructuring, which is designed to drive the next phase of expansion at the Milton Keynes-headquartered company, sees:

  • Laura Clapham promoted to the position of vLease sales manager, which puts her in charge of the division, which comprises 14 employees. Laura, who has been with vGroup International for six years, was previously vLease internal account manager.
  • Justine Hutchins, who joined vGroup International in mid-2017, and was subsequently appointed head of vLease, has taken up the newly created position of head of exports leading the company’s international sales division with the target to increase business in Europe and further afield.
  • Kirstie Nichols, who has been with vGroup International for five years latterly working in the company’s project support team, becomes vLease and export account executive supporting both Laura and Justine.

vGroup International managing director James Nash said: “Our relationship with the UK’s small, medium and large contract hire and leasing businesses is critical to the on-going expansion of the company.

“What’s more as vGroup International further develops those relationships through product range expansion including the development of new and enhanced solutions, notably as legislation increasingly focuses on vehicle and occupant safety, the company’s knowledge and expertise as a trusted adviser is expanding our international horizons.

“The maturity of the UK vehicle leasing market coupled with increasing demand for vehicle leasing products, including Personal Contract Purchase and Personal Contract Hire as well as contract hire and finance lease, in European and global markets means that vGroup International is increasingly providing motor accessory solutions overseas.”
