Welcome to the Leasing Broker Awards 2018.

This is where you can enter the awards to gain the recognition your business deserves.

The Leasing Broker Awards, now in their seventh year, are designed to recognise the excellence and professionalism of leasing brokers, providers of lease and finance facilities to the SME and fleet sector.

Getting shortlisted – or even better, winning – an award gives credibility to your company and provides reassurance for potential customers. It also gives you plenty of opportunity to promote your business, both locally and nationally.

This year we also have Commended and Finalist categories.

The Leasing Broker Awards, which is run by the Leasing Broker Federation, are delivered through this dedicated broker website and are supported by the key funders in the market: Arval, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions and Lex Autolease.

The Leasing Broker Awards 2018 presentation

The Leasing Broker Awards will take place in the evening of October 02, 2018 at the National Motor Cycle Museum, Birmingham. The Leasing Broker Awards follow the Leasing Broker Conference earlier in the day. For more details and to book your place click here.

Which categories can you enter?

There are nine categories reflecting the breadth and diversity of the leasing broker sector.

Best Small Leasing Broker

This award is open to leasing brokers with fewer than 1000 sales a year (Jan 2017 to Dec 2017). You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service to customers. Judges will be looking for the level of personalised service you can provide as a small broker, your expertise and financial guidance along with your FCA compliance.

Best Medium Leasing Broker

This award is open to leasing brokers with sales between 1000 to 4000 units a year (Jan 2017 to Dec 2017). You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service to customers, along with plans to grow or support the business. Judges will be expecting to see examples of your expertise, sales process and financial guidance as well as your FCA compliance.

Best Large Leasing Broker

This award is open to leasing brokers with sales above 4000 units a year (Jan 2017 to Dec 2017). You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service to customers and how well you manage volume without detriment to customer service. Judges will be looking for exceptional deals, expertise, sales process and financial guidance along with your FCA compliance.

Best Marketing & Innovation Award

What have you done that really stands out – or has made a significant difference to your business? Whether it’s delivering a consistent level of informative communications to your database, sponsoring local or national events, or developing an innovative new product, the judges want to hear about it. Companies must demonstrate their initiatives, programmes and innovations between Jan 2017 to end 2017.

Best Customer Service Award

There are three awards available depending on the size of your brokerage:

  • Best Small Leasing Broker Customer Service Award (fewer than 1000 sales a year)
  • Best Medium Leasing Broker Customer Service Award (sales between 1000 to 4000 units a year)
  • Best Large Leasing Broker Customer Service Award (sales over 4000 units a year)

For all categories the judges will be assessing how your brokerage has gone the extra mile that’s turned a customer into an ambassador for your business. The judges will be looking for examples of how your company has actively excelled in providing brilliant customer service. Examples must be from the period Jan 2017 to end 2017.

Best Green Leasing Broker Award

More customers are turning to green fleet leasing on the back of greater product availability, the desire to reduce the car’s impact on the environment and to mitigate company car taxation exposure. How is your company helping deliver this green revolution from EVs to PHEVs? Explain to the judges what you do to promote Ultra Low Emission Vehicles and Electric Vehicles and how you facilitate implementation with customers (period Jan 2017 to end 2017).

Best Van Leasing Broker Award

Vans are the indicator that the economy is moving. But who provides the best leasing and finance service to the market backed by real knowledge of the LCV sector that truly assists your customers? You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service. Judges will expect great deals, but what will be crucial is the expertise in the commercial vehicle sector and a range of financial guidance for the various finance options offered during the period Jan 2017 to Dec 2017

In addition there are two further awards:

  • Spirit of leasing broker award – nominated by the funder judges
  • Broker of the Year – chosen by the judges from the category winners
