LEASING Options Golf Day proved a great success and a good opportunity to get together and thank funders, manufacturers and partners for their continued support.

The annual event was hosted at Didsbury Golf Course by 1989 European Open Winner Andrew Murray and England North West Under 16’s Coach Peter Barber.

The winning pair were Guy Kinnison and Dan Price of Vauxhall and Nissan respectively who took home the main prize as the best scorers on the day.

The other Leasing Options Golf prizewinners were Warren Hegg of Lancashire County Cricket Club, one of Leasing Options corporate partners, who hit the straightest drive, and Dave Williams of Kia with the shot nearest the pin.

There were also a few none golfers in attendance who spent the day with Peter Barber learning about the game and concluded with playing a few holes, all have now said they have “caught the bug.”

Infiniti provided prizes on the day including the chance to win a car for a hole in one on the 18th, although unfortunately no one managed to drop one in. There was also the opportunity to beat the pro as Andrew Murray took on challengers on the 5th, raising money for Prostate Cancer UK in the process.

Leasing Options sales director Andy Houston presented the prizes and said: “I’d like to thank everyone involved with the day, and in particular our funders and partners for their continued support. It was a great day and were we lucky enough to have perfect conditions to enjoy this beautiful course.”

Andy also announced with a smile that Dave Williams from Kia won an Infiniti for the weekend.
