HIPPO leasing Direct has launched a new online portal, offering leasing brokers the opportunity to maximise their lead revenue for customers who have been declined vehicle finance due to low credit.

The leasing broker-only arm of Hippo Motor Group, uses a panel of flexible partner lenders – with access to up to 40 tiers of credit – to help fulfill declined vehicle finance applications, increasing commission for agents and revenue generation for broker companies.

The online portal acts as a centralised hub where leasing agents can make applications on behalf of their customers and monitor their progress.

Once an application has been received, an account manager from Hippo Leasing Direct will contact the customer directly within two working hours, with a decision being communicated to all parties within four working hours after being carefully and individually reviewed.

The panel of lenders will consider all circumstances including IVA, CCJ, defaults and previous bankruptcies, as well as take into account Tax Credits, DLA, Carers Allowance, ESA and Pension as income.

For successful applications, Hippo Leasing Direct has over 900 BVRLA-approved cars in stock with no deposit options and nationwide 48-hour delivery.

Managing director Tom Preston said: “There’s nothing worse than working hard to get the finance proposal for your customer then finding out their application has been declined.

“This is a win-win outcome for the customer who secures a leasing deal, for brokers who earn valuable commission and the team at Hippo Leasing Direct who are able to convert a previously unfilled lead into a sale.”
