START-UP broker Simple Leasing has joined the Leasing Broker Federation.

So a big hello and welcome to Zoe Lacey, the Managing Director of the Buckinghamshire based broker with its HQ in High Wycombe.

Zoe started Simple Leasing in March this year saying she wanted a change of direction from the other business she runs, a debt recovery firm.

“I’ve always had a passion for cars and with a young son he may be interested enough to take it over in the future,” says Zoe. “And I’m good with figures.

“I also like making people happy when they take delivery of their new cars. So there are plenty of reasons to be involved.”

Zoe admits it’s not been an easy start – pitching into the issues of WLTP supply, along with the uncertainties of Brexit. “It’s been early days, there’s been a lot of setting up, authorisations, processes and training.”

Currently Simple Leasing is an AR of Automotive Compliance. “It’s good to have their support, especially when you’re new to the sector. They are ensuring I have all the correct systems in place.

“But I’m getting there and finding my feet with a steady stream of leads.”

Zoe says that as well as joining the Leasing Broker Federation she’s also considering the BVRLA too – “Being a member of both gives reassurance to customers,” she says.

Zoe added: “Joining the Federation will give me insights into the market and best practice so I’m looking forward to joining in with some of the events in 2019.”
