SYNERGY Automotive has beaten its bike target to collect 50 unwanted cycles.
The leasing broker has collected more than 70 bicycles having asked the local community to donate old, unused and outgrown bikes.
The collection has been made as part of a county-wide Yorkshire Bank Bike Libraries programme to promote healthy living and social inclusion.
The aim is to enable children and families to borrow bicycles for free and get fit in the countdown to the Tour de Yorkshire 2018.

Launched in December 2014, the Yorkshire Bank Bike Libraries programme operates 63 donation stations and 49 bike libraries across the region and has so far given children more than 53 thousands opportunities to ride a bike.
Synergy is the preferred vehicle leasing, contract hire and rental provider to Welcome to Yorkshire.
