THE 2017 Leasing Broker Awards are ready to go – so have you thought about which of the nine categories you should enter?

We’ve been helped this year by the Federation’s Steering Committee to tailor the awards to the market.

We want you all to have a go – the awards, sponsored by BMW Group and Hyundai, are designed that way.

So here are the categories you can enter:

Best Small Leasing Broker

  • This award is open to leasing brokers with fewer than 1000 sales a year (Jan 2016 to Dec 2016). You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service to customers. Judges will be looking for the level of personalised service you can provide as a small broker, your expertise and financial guidance along with your FCA compliance.

Best Medium Leasing Broker

  • This award is open to leasing brokers with sales between 1000 to 4000 units a year (Jan 2016 to Dec 2016). You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service to customers, along with plans to grow or support the business. Judges will be expecting to see examples of your expertise, sales process and financial guidance as well as your FCA compliance.

Best Large Leasing Broker

  • This award is open to leasing brokers with sales above 4000 units a year (Jan 2016 to Dec 2016). You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service to customers and how well you manage volume without detriment to customer service. Judges will be looking for exceptional deals, expertise, sales process and financial guidance along with your FCA compliance.

Best Marketing & Innovation Award

  • What have you done that really stands out – or has made a significant difference to your business? Whether it’s delivering a consistent level of informative communications to your database, sponsoring local or national events, or developing an innovative new product, the judges want to hear about it. Companies must demonstrate their initiatives, programmes and innovations between Jan 2016 to end Q2 2017. Best

Customer Service Award

There are three awards available depending on the size of your brokerage:

  • Best Small Leasing Broker Customer Service Award (fewer than 1000 sales a year)
  • Best Medium Leasing Broker Customer Service Award (sales between 1000 to 4000 units a year)
  • Best Large Leasing Broker Customer Service Award (sales over 4000 units a year)

For all categories the judges will be assessing how your brokerage has gone the extra mile that’s turned a customer into an ambassador for your business. The judges will be looking for examples of how your company has actively excelled in customer service. Examples must be from the period Jan 2016 to end Q2 2017.

Best Green Leasing Broker Award

  • More customers are turning to green fleet leasing on the back of greater product availability, the desire to reduce the car’s impact on the environment and to mitigate company car taxation exposure. How is your company helping deliver this green revolution from EVs to PHEVs? Explain to the judges what you do to promote Ultra Low Emission Vehicles and facilitate its implementation withcustomers (period Jan 2016 to end Q2 2017).

Best Van Leasing Broker Award

  • Vans are the indicator that the economy is moving. But who provides the best leasing and finance deals to the market?

You will have to provide evidence of your sales and your commitment and service. Judges will be looking for great deals, but as well as this, expertise in the commercial vehicle sector and a range of financial guidance for the various finance options offered during the period Jan 2016 to Dec 2016.
