HMRC has finally agreed to provide business users with Advisory Fuel Rates for electric vehicles.
Bowing to pressure from fleet operators AFCO, HMRC is to introduce an Advisory Fuel Rate for 100% electric cars from September 01, 2018.
Calling it an Advisory Electricity Rate, HMRC has set the rate at 4p per mile.
What will this mean to your customers? How can you help customers migrate to electrified cars? And what about PHEV vehicles? How do you calculate mileage rates for these hybrids?
All these topics will be covered in our Conference, ‘What does the future look like?’
Taking place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, on October 02, this is a must-attend event.
Following a keynote speech from James McKemey, Head of Insights at Pod Point, we have a panel of experts on electrification to discuss your questions:
- Mike Potter, Managing Director of FleetDrive, winner of the Best Green Leasing Broker and early adopter of the change to electrification;
- Paul Hollick, Managing Director of TMC, and a specialist on business mileage charging for EVs;
- Ian Featherstone, Fleet Advice Manager at the Energy Saving Trust, an expert in transitioning customers to EVs;
- and Sylvie Childs, Senior Product Manager at Hyundai, and an expert in hydrogen fuels.
Plus we have speakers on WLTP and RVs, choosing the right fleet mix for customers, forthcoming taxation changes and developing the value in your business.
Plus there will be great networking opportunities. It’s not to be missed.
