HMRC has finally agreed to provide business users with Advisory Fuel Rates for electric vehicles.
Bowing to pressure from fleet operators AFCO, HMRC is to introduce an Advisory Fuel Rate for 100% electric cars from September 01, 2018.
Calling it an Advisory Electricity Rate, HMRC has set the rate at 4p per mile.
